A Seated Home Exercise Program

With the Increasing demand for us to Stay Home, it is easy to become more sedentary and potentially less mobile. Whilst we are also missing our regular hydrotherapy, it is an important time to find other suitable ways to move our bodies. Maybe you have avoided exercising from home due to increased workload or worries for risk of falls. Capital Hydrotherapy is here to provide you with a safe and accessible exercise program for all for you to follow in the comfort of your home.

The Session ( All Seated) :

-Ankle range of Motion
– Leg Extension
– Calf Raises
– Clam/ Bilateral Hip Abductions
– Isometric Hip Adduction
– Bicep Curl
– Shoulder Press
– Thoraco-Lumbar Mobility
– Stretching

Private Health fund rebates available.

Land based Exercise Physiology sessions are also available (progression after Hydrotherapy); pilates programs, swiss ball programs, and Fall Preventions Programs. EPC and Team Care Arrangements are also available and encouraged (see your GP for referral).

Entitled Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) clients may be referred for clinically necessary Exercise Physiology treatment by their General Practitioner on a valid D904 referral form.

Capital Hydrotherapy specialises in hydrotherapy, aquatic physiotherapy and rehabilitation. Capital Hydrotherapy is a water based exercise program, designed by Exercise Physiologists and Physiotherapists to specifically suit an individual’s needs
